Say I have an installer that supports two installation modes:

  1. Full Installation (selected by default)
  2. Minimal Installation (can be selected)

When the Component Selection page appears, and I select 'Minimal Installation', I want the 'Full Installation' to be deselected and viceversa. How can this be accomplished?

I believe the best solution would be to hide the component selection page and replace it with a choiceParameter

Installation Type

Installation Type

              <text>Full Installation</text>

Installs everything

Installs just the core

                    <compareText text="${installation_type}" logic="equals" value="minimal"/>
                    <compareText text="${installation_type}" logic="equals" value="full"/>

Thanks juanjo. I ended up enabling component selection anyways and using this logic in a custom page that preceded the component selection page. I did this because I still need to show the components being installed.
