Hi,

Is there any way to identify in which stage the installer is running. Let say I would like to identify if I in pre-build or in post-build. Id there any build-in variable which holds the tag of the current stage. I would like to avoid set new variable for each stage.

Thank You, Ronen

It is not possible to do that using built-in variables. Could you give us more information about what you are trying to accomplish?

I was wondering If I can identify the stage which currently running by a built in variable (if there is such variable). So let say currently the process is running in <prebuild> I thought that there is a variable which holds the current tag so I can use it for identify it. Basically I created my own variable to identify it.
