You can reproduce by doing the following: 1. Launch an installer created by InstallBuilder 2. Copy some text from anywhere, paste it in installdir box, you can see paste works 3. Close the installer, try to paste the text again, none

This is a limitation of Qt library itself - it cleans up the clipboard after application exits. We have even checked this with an updated Qt version and the behavior is the same.

Is this an issue for your installer? For example do you need users to copy a value to clipboard and use it after installer finishes?

Okay, understood. This is not an issue for my installer. Just noticed the annoyance when I tested the installer repeatly. I need to paste some text to the input box of the installer, I have to copy the text again and again everytime I exits and restarts the installer.
