Is there a way to override the available values for the mode command line parameter?

I would like to make the Installbuilder command line exactly the same as another pre-existing installer to facilitate backward compatibility. To do this, I would like to have the IB installer accept "--mode silent" for an unattended installation.

It is not currently possible to overwrite the "--mode" command line flag. A possible option would be to create a wrapper that would translate the flag.
