Hi, I'm using the cdrom option to build my installers for various platforms with compressPackedFiles enabled , generating the "dist" file. Is it required that the dist file be in the same directory as the platform-specific install launcher? In the distribution layout I'm working on, I need the dist file (common across all platforms ) be one level up from the platform-specific directories which have many platform-specific config files, including the launchers. So, when I move the dist file up one level, the installers fail to run, expecting the dist in the current working directory. Is there a setting I can use to redirect the dist file?

Thanks, Reddy

Unfortunately it is not possible to configure name or location of the dist file.

What you can do is create small set of binaries to start the installer for each platform - a small wrapper binary for Windows and scripts for Unix and Mac OS X systems. In this case, the wrappers can be in the per-platform directory, and the installer itself may be in some common directory.
