Currently, all the command-line options supported by a created installer are prefixed with two hyphens, e.g.:
Setup.exe --version

For compatibility reasons, it would be nice to make the installer also support command-line options which are prefixed by a leading forward slash, e.g.:
Setup.exe /version

Adding the "ignoreInvalidOptions" flag to my project doesn't help, passing options with a leading forward slash still causes an error.

Is there a way to accomplish that?

Best,
Dirk

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to change the prefix or specify acceptable prefixes.

I have added your suggestion to our bug tracking system to improve this behavior on Windows.
