Hi,

A colleague built our installer on MacOS after finishing his project, unlike me he used the GUI to make changes to the project. The end result of which was the paths for various images, and distribution files being changed from relative paths, to MacOS absolute paths.

Is it possible for the builder GUI to use relative paths when including files? All files are easily referenced relative to the directory of the XML. Or do we need to insist on editing the files by hand since we're using two platforms?

Thanks

InstallBuilder GUI always converts the paths to full paths for editing in GUI. When saving, it will save all paths as relative or absolute, based on Save Relative Paths option.

This can be enabled using the Save Relative Paths option from the Builder GUI or enabling <saverelativepaths> in the XML. For example:

<project> <saveRelativePaths>1</saveRelativePaths> ... </project>
