I have 2 instances of distributionDirectory where I'm trying to exclude files. Neither is working. The 2 distributionDirectory blocks are as follows:

                            <distributionDirectory>
                                <allowWildcards>1</allowWildcards>
                                <excludeFiles>*/PasswordRulesEnforcer.jar</excludeFiles>
                                <origin>/home/jmelnick/spa33/swpang/assembly/SERVERS/AAAServer/plugins</origin>
                            </distributionDirectory>

                    <distributionDirectory>
                        <allowWildcards>1</allowWildcards>
                        <excludeFiles>*/run.bat</excludeFiles>
                        <origin>/home/jmelnick/spa33/swpang/assembly/SERVERS/SafeNetRadius</origin>
                    </distributionDirectory>

What am I doing wrong? Both of the excluded files are still being installed.

Thanks for the help.

I figured it out. I need to have <origin>/home/jmelnick/spa33/swpang/assembly/SERVERS/AAAServer/plugins</origin> to be like <origin>/home/jmelnick/spa33/swpang/assembly/SERVERS/AAAServer/plugins/*</origin>

Only the <origin> is compared against <includeFiles> and <excludeFiles>, not all matched files.

If you want to filter out the matching files in subdirectories, the Advanced Filters allow specifying which files should be included or excluded using one or more patterns.
