I would like to establish a Pre-Install action that checks the user's CPU for a minimum number of cores (in this case two). Is there a way to do that?

Thanks for any help.

You can use the built-in variable machine_cpu_count for this purpose.

<showInfo text="Not enough CPU cores!">
      <ruleList>
        <compareValues value1="${machine_cpu_count}" value2="2" logic="less">
        </compareValues>
      </ruleList>
</showInfo>
