Hi!

I have an installer with a component group whose short name is "jdbc_db". Inside are, obviously, many other components with their own rules and whatnot.

I'm trying to execute this action as part of a parameter's post-show page actions:

<setInstallerVariable>
    <name>project.component(jdbc_db).selected</name>
    <value>0</value>
</setInstallerVariable>

However, the debug run tells me that there is no "jdbc_db" component. How, then, do I enable/disable component groups via actions? As per all the documentation I've seen, the above should work perfectly.

The debugger also lacks the capability to view the components included in the installer so that's also a hindrance.

Thanks!

It's possible to set a child component group selected property in the following way:

project.component(parent_component_group).component(child_component_group).selected
