Hello everyone! I have a question about how to customize the program file link.

Currently my installer installs the product start menu shortcut like so:

Start >> Programs >> Product >> Product Executable and Product Uninstaller

I want to change it to:

Start >> Programs >> Company Name >> Product >> Product Executable and Product Uninstaller

How would I go about doing this? I am currently using Windows XP so the directions I gave for the start menu may look different on a computer that is running Windows 7.

That is controlled by the <startmenugroupname> setting, which is set to ${project. fullName} by default. To make it fit your needs to could use:

<project>
      ...
     <startMenuGroupName>${project.vendor}\${project.fullName}</startMenuGroupName>
      ...
</project>

Just a small note in case anyone copies the previous code into their project, get rid of the space between project. and fullName or you will have run-time problems.

Fixed :). Thanks for pointing it out.
