Hi,

How can I have my installer skip the ready to install page after the welcome to move on to the installation page directly? I see we need to set the installer variable next_page value to installation, but how can i change the value in the postShowPageAction of welcome screen? Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

You can set the next_page installation to cause clicking the next button to go directly to installation:

<initializationActionList>
  <setInstallerVariable>
    <name>next_page</name>
    <value>installation</value>
  </setInstallerVariable>
</initializationActionList>

You can also consider changing the text of the next button - for example setting it to:

Installer.Button.Next=&Install

Changing the text strings is described in more details in Changing Built-in Installer Text Strings section of InstallBuilder User Guide.
